BEGIN YOUR WELLNESS JOURNEY.

Individual Counseling Sessions

Much of my work is influenced by existential psychology and the importance it places on human concerns like values, beliefs, isolation, death, freedom, and meaning. Additionally, I utilize mindfulness practices, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I work with young adults, and women of all ages. I specialize in the following areas: anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development and exploration, and parenting.

We are all imperfect humans doing the best we can. I am dedicated to creating a genuine and relaxed environment, where you can be fully yourself, without fear of judgment. I often use humor and a sense of playfulness in my work. Ultimately, I see therapy as a space to support growth and healing through insight, mindfulness, self-awareness and compassion.

Mindfulness Coaching

Being present in our lives is more difficult than ever. We are often looking for a way to escape the pain, discomfort, boredom, and the list goes on. Ultimately, we do not find peace in those spaces. All we truly have is this moment.

If you would like to be more present in your life, but you are having trouble doing so, I am here to support you and create a plan to fit your needs.

Please know, I am on this journey with you. Through my own life experiences, I have found the practice of mindfulness, as well as the practice of self-compassion, to be healing.

I incorporate mindfulness into my counseling work. The coaching sessions I offer can be taken before, after or during counseling. This work we will do together is more guided and directive than counseling. It is a place to form intentions and habits, which can lead to new understandings and insights, as well as increased presence and joy in your daily life.

“Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing.  We think the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved.  They come together and they fall apart.  Then they come together again and fall apart again.  It’s just like that.  The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen:  room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.” - Pema Chödrön
